Peugeot Expert

The Peugeot Expert combines style with stunning practicality.

Model Update

It’s important to get things right when purchasing a work van. The robust Peugeot Expert is ready for the job. With copious room inside the cargo area, two side doors and large rear doors for hauling the cargo inside, you can’t complain that there won’t be plenty of options for carting the cargo onboard, around.

Air-conditioning, a dash mounted gear stick, a height and reach adjustable steering wheel, storage compartments, an air-conditioned glove box, airbags, ESP – you are very much all set and ready to go.

Peugeot have done very well to produce a nice looking, large van that performs the role of load carrying chores effortlessly. This is the 2011 van to grab!

There are two vans which are built exceptionally well, and are making an impact on the linking of business to business networking throughout Australia. In the fast moving business world, chain marketing and strong relationships are so crucial for high economic returns, and that is why many businesses are linking up with Peugeot’s magnificent big van package

The new big Peugeot Expert makes a statement that this is a van which excels and claims top spot for performance, comfort, practicality and style in a business world hunting for the leading edge. It is very clear the moment you walk up to the Peugeot Expert that this is a class leader in exterior design and packaging.

The Expert has a front nose that incorporates beautifully large and very functional headlights. One of the most aerodynamic vans on the road, the Expert boasts curvaceous lines and very rounded panel to panel joins providing clear streamlined airflow. An exceptionally large front windscreen, big paw prints, and solid design make the Peugeot Expert a very modern, solid machine designed for the one purpose of providing magnificent load carrying capacity in complete comfort and pure design flair. Few vans on the road look quite as nice as the Peugeot Expert.

Open up the outstanding rear doors that swing around 180 degrees to offer exceptional loading space, and you peer down a very long floor that runs unhindered all the way down to the front seats (2254 mm long in the shorter wheel base model and 2584 mm long in the long wheel base variant). The loading floor sits a comfortable 1272 mm above the road surface. This sort of practicality and room boasts a volume of 5.0 m3 in the L1 model and a massive 6.0 m3 in the L2 model. After having a huge 9.0 m3 pile of firewood delivered to my home recently, it’s hard to fathom the load carrying potential of both the very large Peugeot Expert van variants. Bound through the rear door at the back of the van and stroll down the flooring towards the front seats and on either side of the massive van are some awesomely huge side doors which open wide to allow for more convenient loading entries from both sides of the van. With a payload well exceeding 1 tonne you are in for a treat in cargo carrying proficiency.

There are two models available: one is called the Peugeot Expert and the other is called the Peugeot Expert Professional. The Professional model has a few added extras thrown in to an already loaded base model package. The most obvious feature is the incredibly effective 100 kW 2.0 litre turbo-diesel engine. Linked to a six speed manual gearbox the engine sweetly spins through the entire rev range, and with so much torque available (320 Nm from 2000 rpm) the big van’s progress is unstoppable for the long haul.

The base Expert model has a very strong 88 kW 2.0 litre turbo-diesel motor that never feels short of a gallop, and is always incredibly frugal. Both are very strong performers which, when put into terms that I can relate to, are capable of running the 0-100 km/h time in a little over ten seconds for the 100 kW motor, and a little more again for the 88 kW engine. With maximum speeds of over 160 km/h, both vans have a set of very long legs that cruise at motorway speeds in complete comfort and in a quietness befitting for the modern day load hauler. I can imagine a courier being completely happy with the way the van effortlessly performs the jobs required of it day in day out in outstanding competence.

Big brakes boasting ABS, EBD and EBA, an 80 litre fuel tank, power steering, front door storage pockets, overhead driver and passenger storage compartments, courtesy lights with delay, a rear cargo area light, driver and passenger cup holders, driver and passenger sun visors with ticket holders, a 12V accessory power point in the centre console, a rear 12V accessory power point, a dash mounted gear stick, eight tie down hooks in the cargo area, beautifully comfortable seats, a CD/radio and blue tooth compatibility make this the van that’s ready for the leading businesses to make their mark.

Express your professionalism and by an Expert.
