Suzuki Swift

Suzuki Swift cars keep getting better and better. Racy lines and excellent detailing give the Suzuki Swift plenty of clout in a market dominated by small cars.

Model Update

Long live this tidy little automobile design! Gorgeous and sporty, the Suzuki Swift has loads of creative appeal running through its clean exterior lines. Lengthened wrap around headlights are part of the fancy facelift.

Surprisingly roomy, the Suzuki Swift provides great seating for four lanky adults; and you can fit a fifth with a little tighter fit.

Smart interiors complement the snazzy Swift exteriors. The base model Suzuki Swift GA offers a great deal on wheels, with plenty of storage space and excellent safety features (seven airbags and ESC). Powered by a peppy little 1.4-litre petrol engine, the 70 kW engine runs sweetly and eagerly throughout the rev range and is common to the Suzuki Swift GA, GL and GLX models.

Open road cruising is a breeze, while the handling remains balanced and in control. Bluetooth and climate control are the types of luxury items you’ll find in the GLX variant.

Power is aplenty in the Suzuki Swift Sport. A grunty 92 kW hustles the Swift Sport magically along the motorway or powers the Sport model quickly through any S-bend. This is a Swift well worth checking out! It is probably the nicest looking, most competent, value-for-money small sport hatch on the market.

Are you looking for an economical, reliable and absolutely fun car to drive? If so, check out the new Suzuki Swift models. With distinct, yet gentle, lines, and a well thought out design with a wrap around look from the front windscreen to the rear glass, this supermini will definitely turn heads. The hot looks capture the imagination and set the blood racing like no other Suzuki gone before it. Suzuki’s exterior masterpiece rates as one of the best small car designs on the road today.

Jump in, plant your right foot and enjoy! The Swift not only looks terrific, but also rides and performs superbly. The car comes with two petrol engines. Most have the well tuned, 1.4-litre petrol engine. A 70 kW output is very involving and incredibly zippy. Push the Swift along, which is what you’ll want to do, and it won’t send you bankrupt – with the fuel economy averaging 5.5 litres/100 km.

The other engine is the hot 92 kW, 1.6-litre motor. This engine has the 0-100 km/h sprint dealt with in well under 10 seconds. A Sport motor with plenty of pep means that this is an engine that is best worked through an engaging five-speed manual gearbox. Opt for the 1.4-litre versions, and the marriage runs to a 4-speed automatic option, alongside the excellent 5-speed manual gearbox. My eyes and ears are on the lookout for the 1.3-litre DDIS diesel engine, which is due to be released in Australia before too long.

Though it may be like a Mini, the Suzuki Swift’s interior comfort is not compromised in any way. The cleverly laid out cabin has space aplenty. To spend a lengthy time frame in the modern Suzuki Swift cabin is no great hardship, as the modern textures and comfortable seating makes for a great place to spend some time. A quality finish to the plastic trim gives the Swift cabin an ambience that is modern and sophisticated. There is comfortable seating for four adults.

You’ll note the design cues on the exterior are brought into the Swift’s interior, too. The wrap-around look of the exterior is worked into the interior, while the chunky and sporty three-spoke steering wheel is great to hold, and contains controls for the audio system. I love the illuminated ring around the speedometer; it not only gives a sporty look and greater visibility but it also hints towards the highly successful design of Suzuki’s sport motorbikes. All the buttons for the audio system and climate control are large and easy to manipulate. You can have the option of a keyless entry system, electric windows and much, much more.

Safety is important, and the Suzuki Swift offers great safety features. You might not have thought about this, but one of the biggest safety features this modern Suzuki Swift car has is its impeccable handling. The car is quick in tight corners, and the tight turning radius gives a fast and accurate response. Equipped with anti-lock brakes, ESP, as well as front and side driver and passenger airbags, all the bases are covered very well.

Recently added to the Suzuki Swift line-up, the Swift RE.1 is the spunk in the range. Front under spoilers, a rear upper spoiler, bonnet racing stripes, Limited Edition luxury features, RE.1 side stripes and an RE.1 rear stripe gives this vehicle plenty of gob smacking attention.

If you’re looking for a vehicle with first class fuel economy, and lots of fun and comfort, you need to check out the very well priced Suzuki Swift today. You’ll be turning heads in no time at all.
