{"id":2791,"date":"2013-07-15T14:32:12","date_gmt":"2013-07-15T04:32:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.privatefleet.com.au\/?p=2791"},"modified":"2020-06-20T01:36:20","modified_gmt":"2020-06-19T15:36:20","slug":"beyond-the-sticker-price","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/blog\/home\/beyond-the-sticker-price\/","title":{"rendered":"Beyond the Sticker Price"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When it comes to new car ownership, the cost of owning the car for the first few years is a significant factor worth considering before you hand over the money.\u00a0 Running costs from one car to another can differ dramatically.\u00a0 Costs like the replacement of parts, tyres, oil filters, fuel and even registration all factor into the equation that reveals how costly it\u2019s going to be to run your dream car over time.\u00a0 For 2013, Australia&#8217;s cheapest car to own and run is the new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/suzuki\/suzuki-alto-review\/\">Suzuki Alto<\/a>.\u00a0 The car looks pretty cool and, for the second year running, has come out as the clear winner in a survey of Australia\u2019s most economical vehicles.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.privatefleet.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/2013-suzuki-alto.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2792\" alt=\"2013-suzuki-alto\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.privatefleet.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/2013-suzuki-alto-300x162.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"162\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Obviously, if you\u2019ve seen a Suzuki Alto, you already know the car is small.\u00a0 It looks cute and is powered by a zippy little 1.0-litre petrol engine.\u00a0 No surprises then that the Suzuki Alto finished ahead of 109 other vehicles and was found in the Light Car class.<\/p>\n<p>Owners of a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/holden\/holden-cruz-review\/\">Holden Cruze Equipe <\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/volkswagen\/volkswagen-jetta-review\/\">Volkswagen Jetta <\/a>\u00a0118 TSI, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/audi\/a4-sedan-review\/4343\/\">Audi A4 <\/a>\u00a01.8-litre Turbo, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/holden\/commodore-evoke-review\/\">Holden VF Evoke \u00a0LPG<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/nissan\/nissan-dualis+2-review\/\">Nissan Dualis ST<\/a> , <a href=\"http:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/hyundai\/santa-fe-review\/\">Hyundai Santa Fe \u00a0Active<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/jeep\/jeep-grand-cherokee-review\/\">Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo<\/a> \u00a0should also be very pleased with their cars.\u00a0 According to the survey, these cars came up as the least expensive cars in their class to own.
