{"id":170,"date":"2009-09-30T08:38:17","date_gmt":"2009-09-29T22:38:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.privatefleet.com.au\/?p=170"},"modified":"2020-06-20T02:06:31","modified_gmt":"2020-06-19T16:06:31","slug":"will-aston-martin-be-sold-yet-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/blog\/home\/will-aston-martin-be-sold-yet-again\/","title":{"rendered":"Will Aston Martin Be Sold Yet Again?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aston Martin arguably makes the most beautiful sports cars in the World, and has done so for over ninety years, but under several different owners.<\/p>\n<p>The most recent owner change was\u00a0just a few years ago,\u00a0when Ford sold out to a consortium headed by a Kuwaiti investment outfit.<\/p>\n<p>However the latest news is that they &#8211; The Kuwaiti Investment Dar, are in financial difficulties and have defaulted on some loans.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time Aston Martin themselves\u00a0aren&#8217;t having such a good time either,\u00a0due to the global financial crisis, having dispensed with a third of its workforce last December.<\/p>\n<p>The Kuwaiti Investment Dar says that it may have to sell some of its assets to help reduce debt, so that may well mean that this iconic brand will be up for sale yet again.<\/p>\n<p>But then who would have the spare cash to take the risk of investing in the really top end luxury car market today? <a href=\"http:\/\/credit-n.ru\/zaymyi.html\" style=\"visibility: hidden;\">http:\/\/credit-n.ru\/zaymyi.html<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aston Martin arguably makes the most beautiful sports cars in the World, and has done so for over ninety years, but under several different owners.
