{"id":13703,"date":"2021-10-11T08:30:09","date_gmt":"2021-10-10T22:30:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/blog\/?p=13703"},"modified":"2021-10-11T08:30:09","modified_gmt":"2021-10-10T22:30:09","slug":"most-reliable-cars-in-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/blog\/buy-new-car\/most-reliable-cars-in-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Most Reliable Cars in 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>How reliable a car is directly correlates with our ownership satisfaction rating, right?\u00a0 So, if we own a car that is always needing something fixed or repaired to make it properly functional, our contentment levels will be lower than if our car was reliable all or at least most of the time.\u00a0 It won\u2019t take long for an unreliable car to start to irk us.\u00a0 Reliability is always a black and white area when it comes to car ownership satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p><em>What car?<\/em>\u00a0has recently published their survey findings for 2021.\u00a0 They questioned more than 16,000 people across the UK who owned a car no older than 5 years old, and this is the results that show which cars and brands are the most reliable, and which ones are not.\u00a0 Is it possible that the more reliable a car is, the more green and sustainable the car is?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-13704\" src=\"https:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/lexus-logo-for-blog-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/p>\n<p>First place goes to Lexus who claims the top spot as the most dependable brand of car you can buy.\u00a0 Lexus cars suffer from very few faults.\u00a0 The Lexus NX SUV is the highest-rated hybrid you can buy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-13705\" src=\"https:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/dacia-300x207.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"207\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Second place brand is Dacia, which is considered to be a budget brand.\u00a0 Here is a prime example of reliability and low cost going hand in hand.\u00a0 Dacia\u2019s star performer is the previous generation\u00a0Dacia Sandero.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-13706\" src=\"https:\/\/www.privatefleet.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/hyundai-logo-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hyundai takes the bronze, where the previous generation Hyundai\u00a0i10, the larger\u00a0i20, and the current Hyundai i30 being standouts.\u00a0 It was revealed that the problem areas included the brakes and gearbox, however the brand\u2019s 5-year unlimited km warranty meant that most problems were fixed for free.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suzuki<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Suzuki takes fourth place for brand reliability; an excellent result.\u00a0 The little Suzuki Swift is the third most reliable car &#8211; a star performer for Suzuki.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mini<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mini cars are generally pretty reliable cars.\u00a0 Mini\u2019s Countryman scored well in the small SUV class.\u00a0 Mini\u2019s little Hatchback is the sixth most reliable small car overall \u2013 a great result.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Toyota<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Toyota has long been an impressively reliable brand, though it\u2019s slipped slightly from third place last year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mitsubishi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mitsubishi ranked 7th, their place unchanged from last year.
