The long wheel base model has a few extras, namely: an electrically-operated tilting/sliding glass sunroof with a PRE-SAFE closing function, a front passenger seat that is adjustable from the rear, Heated front seats, a rear bench seat with electrically adjustable outer seats and a roller blind for the rear window to mention a few. Seating in the S63 AMG is roomy and voluptuous.
Put through its paces, the Mercedes Benz S63 AMG is exceptionally fast. The big V8 has a massive 386 kW that is flung onto the tarmac at 6800 rpm. And, wait for it, a humungous 630 Nm of torque kicks in at a smooth 5200 rpm. Hence the acceleration time for the Mercedes-Benz S6 AMG's 0-100 km/h is a scintillatingly quick 4.6 seconds. A limiter is in place for the cars top speed of 250 km/h, so goodness knows what she could do with the limiter unhitched. Power is put to the road via a top seven speed, AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7G-TRONIC transmission.
