Mercedes Benz R350

Similar to the R320, the Mercedes-Benz R350 is one of the top SUV's on the market today. Sporting a 200 kW 24-valve dual overhead cam V-6 engine, the R350 has no shortage of power.  Power that is matched to a 7-speed electronically controlled transmission that adapts to the driver, and with controls located on the steering column, the R350 provides exceptional performance in nearly any condition.  The big Merc always remains in control and is simplistic to use.

The Mercedes-Benz R350 has 4MATIC permanent 4-wheel drive with a single transfer case that provides power to the wheels with a 50/50 front/rear torque split. This means greater traction and power to the wheels when the conditions get tough. Combine this with a 4-wheel Electronic Traction Control System that monitors the speed of all the four wheels.  When slippage is detected, the appropriate wheel brakes are applied and even a reduction in excess engine power occurs so that your wheels remain firmly in touch with the ground.  Mercedes-Benz's Electronic Stability Programme monitors steering and braking inputs, and adjusts not only the engine but the brakes and traction as needed.  Wow!  This is what I call a "comprehensive driving dynamic package".

The R350 also has an infrared sensor that automatically adjusts wiper speed and intermittent wiper frequency depending on the amount of rainfall against the windscreen. Driver programmable headlamps, dual power and heated mirrors, and a Smart-key remote with an electronic security system  provide exceptional safety and security.

The Mercedes-Benz R320's interior includes a multifunction steering wheel that contains not only the audio controls but the optional telephone and operation of the multifunction display. Twelve-volt power outlets abound, both in the front as well as the rear. Dual-zone automatic climate controls mean the passengers in the rear can enjoy the heating and cooling as it should be. What a way to stop arguements!  There is an 8-way power driver's seat with adjustable lumbar support and MB-Tex upholstery in the front and rear.
