Mercedes Benz C230

With a powerful 150 kW dual overhead cam 24 valve V-6 motor, the C230 has the power to deliver. The engine is teamed up with either a full synchronized 6-speed manual transmission with a short-throw shifter as well as a clutch-starter interlock, or an optional 7-speed automatic that has a driver adaptive programming that adjusts shift points to the driver's current driving style. There is also a Touch Shift feature that allows the driver to shift up and down manually by nudging the shifter left or right from the drive position.

The exterior of the Mercedes-Benz C230 is just as impressive. With the revolutionary Nano-particle clearcoat, worrying about those little scratches that happen from time to time is a thing of the past. There are heated windscreen wipers as well as 17" staggered-width 6-spoke alloy wheels. There are dual electronically heated mirrors that are linked to the driver's seat memory and are automatically heated.

The interior sports a multi-function steering wheel that has convenient controls for the cruise control (which is adaptive to the car in front) or the audio system or the optional phone, plus the operation of the multifunction display. The steering wheel is also 4-way, tilt as well as telescoping. An automatic rear auto-dimming mirror keeps those bright lights that come up from the rear out of your eyes. The front seats are 10-way adjustable with power height and recline as well as adjustable lumbar support. The audio system is a 6-speaker and comes with an in-dash CD player with an optional 6 disk changer which is located in the glove box. 

As can be expected, Mercedes-Benz has incorporated their Electronic Stability Programme which adjusts the vehicle to the driver's actions via steering, braking and acceleration to help keep you on the road.  This car is superbly stable.
