Nissan Patrol Cab Chassis

The Nissan Patrol Cab Chassis is a 4x4 for serious bush-bashers and hard workers.

Model Update

These are very capable 4X4s. Each Nissan Patrol Cab Chassis has exceptional off-roading ability, being able to tackle rutted tracks, river crossings, sand dunes, forestry tracks, paddocks and the like. Equally at home on the highway, the Patrol Cab Chassis has refinement, comfort and power to make any hard working person very satisfied with the vehicle’s performance.

Two options: you can equip your Patrol Cab Chassis with the very tough Leaf Rear Suspension or you can opt for the more refined Coil Rear Suspension. There are two levels of equipment for the Patrol Cab Chassis: the DX and the ST.

Each model is equipped with the reliable 3.0-litre turbo-diesel workhorse that develops 118 kW of power and 380 Nm of torque. Standard equipment includes comfortable seats, air-conditioning, an audio unit and airbags. The DX boasts a 3200 kg braked towing capacity – very handy, indeed.

Thinking of tough outdoor work? Asking questions about what vehicle can hack the rough stuff? Take a look at the brilliant Nissan Patrol Cab Chassis. This is a vehicle for the worst weather and toughest off-roading conditions. Designed with a rugged 4×4 design, sturdy mechanical componentry and legendary reliability equates to the new Nissan Patrol Cab Chassis being a very compelling choice for the harshest conditions. As it’s made to be the best, the Nissan Patrol Cab Chassis leads the charge on the world’s toughest 4×4 trails. A handy deck size makes feeding out to stock or carrying timber and the like a breeze. Also, the Nissan Patrol Cab Chassis has phenomenal towing ability.

The Nissan Patrol Cab Chassis has a bulk that may seem intimidating at first but that commanding driving position – enhanced by comfortable high seats and plenty of reach and rake in the steering wheel, fine forward visibility and its general effortlessness soon have you feeling at home. Its roomy size may make parking a challenge, but most of the work in a Nissan Navara Cab Chassis will be carried out in some of the remotest parts of the world – and Australia has a few of these spots! It’s no coincidence that the Steve Irwins of this world choose the Patrol as their workhorse.

The basic controls are straightforward and demand little effort. Outback driving is effortless and durable, and the reliability that Nissan offers is essential when you’re miles from anywhere. There are two Cab Chassis versions available: the Nissan Patrol Cab Chassis DX, and the Nissan Patrol Cab Chassis ST. The ST is the slightly higher equipped model, boasting things like carpet, bucket seats, cup holders, a centre console with lid, map lights and green tinted glass. However, the DX still boasts some good features. Both models have Moquette cloth trim for the seats, tilt adjustable power steering, air-conditioning, an AM/FM radio/CD, two audio speakers, large door pockets, a four spoke steering wheel, passenger assist grips and a hard wearing vinyl floor covering.

Recent improvements to the suspension and steering have delivered flatter handling and better steering feedback. Particularly impressive are its resistance to understeer and its body control. The brakes are very good, and they are certainly able to stop this heavy vehicle effectively.

Under the hood is a superbly efficient and quiet 3.0 litre diesel that offers plenty of punch to throw at the bush whacker’s track. Off-road, the Nissan Cab Chassis is extraordinary. It will hoist itself up amazing inclines with ease, and descend them incredibly slowly if required. The Patrol Cab Chassis is very capable off the beaten track, and clambers over rocks, fords rivers and takes you places few people ever tread. A select few owners will venture toward greater challenges, and the Cab chassis will definitely get you there.

Nissans still hold their resale value very well, so buying a good Nissan Patrol Cab Chassis is a very sound economical choice – better than most other large 4x4s.

The current model series includes the:
