The Touareg is Volkswagen's entry into the sport utility vehicle arena. With stocky well accented lines that make it look not only sleek, but tough as well the Touareg is definitely an eye catcher.

The Volkswagen Touareg offers three different engine choices, a 3.6 litre V-6 petrol engine that produces 276 horsepower, a 4.2 litre V-8 that delivers 350 horsepower, at the top is a 5.0 litre turbocharged V-10 diesel that is rated at 310 horsepower. Each engine is meshed with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Combine these power plants with a 4X motion four wheel drive and features like air adjustable suspension and a locking differential and tough unibody construction and you have one serious off-road adventurer. This is definitely not your ordinary Volkswagen!

The interior is just as well designed with features as the exterior, with dual zone automatic climate control with air conditioning, power steering, cruise control, tilt/telescoping steering with radio controls, heated adjustable front seats, split folding rear seat, power windows and locks, keyless entry, sunroof, AM/FM/CD audio systems, trip computer, universal garage door opener and automatic headlamps. A lot of options and upgrades are also available, from navigation LCD screens to rear controlled audio systems and multi adjustable power seats.

Safety features on the Volkswagen Touareg include Anti-slip Regulation, automatic hazard lights, daytime running lamps, electronic brake pressure distribution, turning signals on the outside mirrors, driver and passenger front and side airbags are but to name a few.
