VE Commodore
Designed and built from scratch in Australia the VE Commodore is one sharp looking vehicle. But the looks only wet your appetite to sit behind the wheel and take a VE Commodore for a spin. Power plants under the bonnet range from the 3.6 litre Alloytec V-6 petrol engine to the 6.0 litre generation 4 Alloy V8 petrol engine. Meshed to these powerhouses is a choice of a 4-speed automatic transmission a 5-speed automatic with Active Select or 6-speed manual transmission or an optional 6-speed automatic with Active Select.
The interior of the VE Commodore is just as stylish as its exterior with sport, supportive cloth or leather seats and the option of 4-way electric adjustment of the driver's seat with adjustable lumbar support for both the driver and passenger. Other internal features include air conditioning with dual zone climate control, a 6.5" multifunction color LCD screen, which displays the stereo and climate control information has a DVD player and is satellite navigation compatible. The VE Commodore also has power windows, electric tilt and slide sunroof, a multifunction driver display featuring a trip computer, sound system information, speed alert and much more.
Safety features of the VE Commodore include dual stage front driver and passenger airbags, side impact airbags for both driver and passenger as well as side curtain airbags, front lap/sash seatbelts with load limiters and pyrotechnic pretensioners, remote central locking and alarm system.
