With a bold, thrilling and muscular external design, the new Mazda CX-7 breaks the mold for an SUV. The sleek and stylish exterior has been designed with excellent strength and body rigidity. Under the gorgeous bonnet is a very powerful 2.3 litre direct-injection turbocharged engine that easily puts a smile on the driver's face. Apply the throttle and the lusty experience of 175 kilowatts and 350 Newton metres bursts into life.  The Mazda CX-7 uses this power via a sporty 6-speed sport automatic transmission, and the combination of pace, responsiveness and grip make the Mazda CX-7  a very stable and enjoyable drive - the independent front Macpherson struts and independent multi-link rear suspension doing their job nicely.  The stopping power is excellent, thanks to a simple yet very effective 4-wheel vented disk brake system that boasts ABS. The Dynamic Stability and Traction control tie up  the 1800 kg body mass so that handling and control remains nicely balanced.

In the safety department there are front SRS air bags with front side impact air bags. Front and rear side impact curtains with rollover protection add to safety. Added safety features are an automatic tire pressure monitoring system, illuminated keyless entry with a panic button and an anti-theft system with engine immobilizer.

The interior is crafted in luxury and has seating available for 5 passengers in full comfort.  A Mazda CX-7 has many standard luxury items, but for those who like a little more then the very desirable rich leather trimmed heated seats that can be either  6 or 8 way adjustable in the front will be appreciated.  The lumbar support is brilliant.  Also a great optional extra is the premium 9 speaker stereo system with CD and changer. There is even a DVD navigation system with voice command, and a rear view camera which can increase safety when reversing in tight places.

The Mazda CX-7 has a base price of around $39,910 which is very unbelievable, once you have driven the magnificent Mazda CX-7.  Great value and outstanding SUV dynamics, the CX-7 leads the charge.
