Kia boast some of the world’s best diesel engines, and they have picked up numbers of awards. The CRDi engine is paired with a sophisticated and reliable RT-10 five-speed manual transmission for smooth and precise gear shifting. And with a 2.9 litre, turbo inter-cooled diesel with DOHC, Common rail (Delphi) technology it rates as one of the cleanest burning and gruntiest motors in its class. The 92 kW of maximum power comes into its own at a very accessible 3800 rpm, and with 245 Nm of torque from as low as 1500 rpm all the way through to 3250 rpm business has never looked better.
The tray-deck is superbly tough and practical, with a height of just 775 mm. Loading the deck is not as hard as you think. With 3110 mm x 1630 mm to play around with, sizeable loads can be carried. Versatile? Yes. You can carry loads up to a whopping 1500 kg.
