As the car will be replaced by another model why not keep it as a “Falcon” (range) even if it comes from elsewhere at least a percentage of “Ford buyers” will remain loyal because of that.

I currently have an LPG falcon RTV ute that has been as regular as clockwork. I wanted to update but they dropped the RTV range so I have stuck with this current model from 2008. It is a shame that we do not protect our industry in Australia. we should have a level playing field against other countries that import. Our tarrifs should reflect the tarriifs imposed on our products exported. Hang you heads in shame politicians ( Labor and Liberal) you have closed another industry.

a 1999 Ford Fairlane V8 Ghia silver sedan. Superb large all purpose touring vehicle. An amazing 1996 Ford Falcon XR6 Blue
6 cylinder sedan with every possible option inc.an electric sunroof.
I started with driving many Cortina models, a Ford Goss Special 2door in white with blue full body length blue striping. Too many Fords to list here. Thank you Ford Australia for giving me many fabulous hours of great driving experiences for over my 50 plus years of driving in this great country Australia.
As a foot note, of great importance to me. The Ford 96 XR6 Tickford sedan was a major a factor in getting my then 2 year old daughter to hospital in full emergency mode. It featured at the time in a Current Affairs program instigated by Helen Wellings(a great lady) and filmed very expertly by Chris Masters and his crew. I have a VCR of the event which I believe is still held by Channel 7. It would be great to have a copy to be in a collective of other many great Ford driven stories.
Again, ‘Thanks Ford Australia for the ride.
Warmest Regards
